Condition Grading
Overall Condition Grades
| Grade | Label | Description |
|---|---|---|
| N | New | Unused. No signs of wear whatsoever. May include original tags and packaging. |
| NS | New to Like New | Between New and Like New. Essentially pristine with imperceptible signs of handling. |
| S | Like New | Appears virtually unused. May have been a display piece. No visible wear. |
| SA | Like New to Lightly Used | Between Like New and Lightly Used. Minimal, barely perceptible signs of use. |
| A | Lightly Used | Slight signs of wear. May show light patina or very light scuffing on corners or hardware. Overall excellent condition. |
| AB | Lightly Used to Used | Between Lightly Used and Used. Minor visible wear consistent with careful use. |
| B | Used | Wear consistent with normal, regular use. No heavy damage. A well-loved piece with character. |
| BC | Used to Well Used | Between Used and Well Used. More pronounced wear; may show multiple areas of use. |
| C | Well Used | Significant wear consistent with heavy use. May benefit from professional refurbishment. Priced accordingly. |
Sub-Grading
Internal & External Sub-Grades
Many listings include separate internal (lining, interior pockets) and external (exterior leather, hardware, trim) sub-grades for even greater transparency. Here's how to read them.

|---|---|
| S | Almost no defects. Pristine. |
| 1+ | Very minor defects only. Excellent. |
| 1 | Minor and medium damages. Good overall. |
| 2+ | Slight defects and some deterioration. Fair. |
| 2 | Some defects that affect appearance. Visible wear. |
| 3 | Well-used with major defects. Priced to reflect condition. |

What to Expect on Product Pages
Overall Condition Grade
Every listing displays the overall grade (e.g., A, AB, B) so you know exactly what you're getting at a glance.
Internal & External Sub-Grades
Where applicable, separate interior and exterior sub-grades are listed (e.g., Exterior: 1+ / Interior: 1).
Written Condition Notes
A detailed written description of any specific wear, marks, or notable details — no surprises on arrival.
Entrupy Certificate
An Entrupy Certificate of Authenticity is included with every eligible item, verifiable online.
